The shop number 1 for car parts without a license
This is surprising news. My Ami Buggy, the production version of the My Ami Buggy Concept, went on sale on Tuesday June 21. It took just 17 minutes to find buyers for the only 50 units.
The Ami is the famous 100% electric four-wheeler that Citroën launched a few months ago. In the My Ami Buggy version, the electric no-license car takes on an adventurous air.
According to the brand, the My Ami Buggy "embodies freedom of movement and the spirit of vacation, with a cabin open to the outside world". Admittedly, this My Ami Buggy has abandoned its doors in favor of tubular metal doors. Gone, too, is the roof, replaced by a removable canvas to make the most of the outside. With its distinctive khaki bodywork, fender flares, front and rear bumpers and gold wheels, it's hard to miss its adventurous style. The vitamin kit's yellow accessories are also hard to resist.
The Citroën Ami was one of the first Chevron vehicles to be sold online. My Ami Buggy has gone through the same marketing phase. The problem is that almost 1,800 people are interested in buying one of the 50 examples of the new Ami.
Only the fastest people can complete the purchasing process. They will receive one of the 50 numbered copies personalized with their name, to be delivered in the second half of August to the location of their choice.
Although the classic version is sold in 9 countries, the surprising success of this limited edition My Ami Buggy is a strong signal of public interest in an exclusive version of this small mobile object. As proof, Ami has already won over more than 21,000 customers in Europe since its commercial launch in April 2020.
