Towards a 2024 roadworthiness test for VSPs?

A decree was applied on August 9, 2021, for a technical inspection from 2024 concerning all license-free cars that have a power of at least 53m2, whose registration was made on 01/01/2016.

A technical inspection could be envisaged in 2024 if your small car was registered between January1, 2016 and December 31, 2020. On the other hand, PSVs registered after 2021 will be subject to technical inspection in 2025. This applies not only to cars without a license, but also to two- and three-wheelers.

However, this news is still pending, due to the strong mobilization of technical inspection center managers and motorists, who are not sufficiently prepared for these changes, which are still not concrete.

But one thing remains to be stressed: what should I do if I buy a used car without a license? Unless a new decree is applied, no technical inspection will be carried out when the new vehicle is purchased. That's why at Piecesanspermis.fr we advise you to prepare your car for the mandatory roadworthiness test.

On our website, you'll find a catalog of over 3,500 product references, with different makes of VSP.

We'll be releasing more information in the coming weeks, with details of the implementing decree.
