The steps

  • Locate the old probe, unscrew it (using a wrench if necessary) and remove it

Etape 01

  • Screw in the new probe by hand, then using an open-ended wrench. Be careful not to overtighten, as this may break the thread on the probe tip. Stop tightening at the slightest resistance.

Etape 02

  • Refill coolant level (unscrew engine radiator cap and add coolant).
