The oil separator connector hose (often called a connecting sleeve or bypass connector) is the intermediate part that provides the direct connection between the valve cover outlet (upper engine section) and the oil separator housing inlet, or between the separator and the rigid intake pipe. On the Greaves E5+ twin-cylinder diesel engine fitted to Ligier JS50 and Myli models, this connector plays a key role in maintaining the engine’s internal vacuum.
