Do you need to replace your Ligier JS50 phase 2 shock absorbers? You will be completely satisfied with this part, which can be adapted perfectly to your VSP, providing excellent road handling, road comfort and safety.

This product is sold by the unit but for safety reasons we recommend that you replace both shock absorbers.

The suspension of your Voiturette Ligier consists of the shock absorber/spring pair, where the shock absorber's role is to absorb energy and enable your VSP to quickly regain its equilibrium position on the road. The shock absorber brakes the spring's oscillations and transforms this energy into heat. The suspension, on the other hand, must keep the wheels in permanent contact with the ground, to improve roadholding, and thus ensure better braking and driving comfort.

Here are a few signs that you may need to replace your shock absorbers:

abnormal vibration of the steering wheel
when braking, the car plunges forward a little too much
on faster roads, the car is very sensitive to side winds
the cart "chases" from the rear or lurches in tight bends
difficult to control on wet surfaces
wheels tend to "bounce" when going over speed bumps.
Oil oozing from a shock absorber may be the sign of a leak, and the shock absorber may no longer be able to perform its ground-holding function.
