The suspension of your cart Microcar consists of the shock absorber/spring couple, where the shock absorber's role is to absorb energy and allow your VSP to quickly regain its equilibrium position on the road. The shock absorber will slow down the oscillations of the spring and transform this energy into heat. The suspension must maintain the wheels in permanent contact with the ground, in order to improve the road holding, and thus ensure a better braking and a driving comfort.

Here are some signs that may indicate that the shock absorbers need to be changed:

• abnormal vibration of the steering wheel
• when braking, the car plunges forward a little too much
• on faster tracks, the car is very sensitive to side wind
• the cart "chases" from the rear or drifts in tight turns
• the cart is more difficult to control on wet surfaces
• the wheels tend to "bounce" when passing speed bumps.
• oil leaks from a shock absorber, this may be a sign of a leak and the shock absorber may no longer be able to perform its role as a link to the ground.
• tyre deformation on the tread.
