The rocker arm adjusting screw lock nut is a highly specialized fine-thread lock nut. Screwed directly onto the adjusting screw at the end of the rocker arm, its unique and essential function is to securely lock the adjusting screw in place after the valve clearance (intake and exhaust) has been adjusted on Kubota twin-cylinder diesel engines used in Aixam and Minauto vehicles.
